9-8-25   THOUGHTS

What we seek with our whole heart is the key to life, and life eternal!   We must connect “have been raised up” with “for you have died,”.  This is Rom 6:3-11 thinking.   This whole area, Col 3:5-17 seeks to set our focus and priority to Christ!   Seek the things above where Christ is.  Christ is said to BE OUR LIFE!  We must die in order to live!  

Col 3:1-4    Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.  2  Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.  3  For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  4  When  Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

A Prayer:
Father, help us to see our need to die to this world, so that we can live in newness of life.  Help us to set our minds powerfully on the life of light and spirit that is in Christ Jesus.  Remove our double minded tendencies, and help us to see Your glory that we may see Your true glory when Christ is revealed.  We pray in the name of our Savior,    Amen.
